In order to support institutions and students moving to remote instruction & learning, many publishers are offering some or all of their e-resources freely for a period of few months.

The Central Library measures to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection

According to RECTOR’S ORDER č. 9/2020 "on the provision of study programs and courses and on the conduct of examinations at CTU in Prague, in connection with measures to reduce the risk of infection with the corona virus" the temporary settings borrowing services of the Central Library of CTU.

Opening hours sice 25th May 2020

Local libraries (FTS, FNSPE, FBMI), Central Library only Loan desk 2nd floor*:

Mon    10:00 - 14:00
Tue    10:00 - 14:00
Wed     12:00 - 16:00
Thu    10:00 - 14:00
Fri    10:00 - 13:00

* Library and study room 5th floor closed

The entrance of users will be regulated according to current developments in the situation and regulations.

Previously borrowed books from local libraries (FTS, FNSPE, FBMI) can only be returned there.

Books borrowed in the Central library Dejvice can be returned only through Bibliobox near the NTK 3 entrance .

The loan period is extended until further notice without penalty. 😉

Before entering the pick-up location it is necessary to sign the affirmation and submit it before lending the books.👍🙏

Keep a safe distance 🕴️<-2m->🕴️ , wear a mask😷, preferably gloves🧤 or use a prepared disinfectant before entering🧴.

Extended opening hours

From February 2018 is our library and study room at 5th floor open in extended oppening hours. It means that you can study, read or relax here to 10.00 P.M (only with self-service).
