The Central Library measures to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection

All CTU students and employees are obliged to follow  RECTOR’S ORDER no. 21/2020 On reducing the risk of coronavirus infection, (the 5th completed version will enter into force on 27th April).

Furthermore, they must comply with the NTL regulations on measures against the spread of COVID-19 disease on the premises of the National Technical Library.


CTU Central Library (including CTU local libraries) is open from May 18th 2021 in restricted hours.

  • The reservations could be made in Library catalogue. You will receive an email as soon as the reservation is ready to pick up.

  • Check your Library Account for current status of your loans.

  • Return the books in the same library, where you borrowed them - in local libraries (FTS, FNSPE, FBME).  Books borrowed at CTU Central Library in Dejvice can be returned via Bibliobox near the NTK 3 entrance or at the main circulation desk on the 2nd floor.

  • Keep an eye on our website and Online Learning Library Support. There is 24/7 online access to e-books, e-journals and other library electronic materials.


Keep a safe distance 🕴️<-2m->🕴️ , wear a respirator😷 and use a prepared disinfectant before entering 🧤 🧴.

According to Rectors order physical presence of students in CTU buildings is allowed to students with valid negative test.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, various publishers and libraries temporarily provide some of their electronic resources free of charge. Check e-resources in the time of coronavirus which we keep up to date.
