An institutional repository of the Czech Technical University in Prague, a platform for storing, sharing and presentation of CTU published outputs.
The repository uses DSpace as an open source software platform and is being developed by the CTU Central Library in cooperation with the CTU Computing and Information Centre. It works in compliance with Open Access policy, the research and scientific results of the university are available freely on the Internet and the repository serves both Czech and international public.
Digital library is part of CTU information infrastructure – interconnected with the components of CTU information system (SIS – study information system, CRIS – current research information system, Usermap – user authentication and authorization), library system (Aleph), and e-journal publishing system (Open Journal Systems). Within these processes the data inserted into CTU information system are reused to a maximum degree, including ORCID ID for unambiguous author identification.
The repository content
- Journal articles published by CTU authors available freely on the Internet (Open Access journals)
- Educational materials and presentations of CTU employees
- Journal articles whose publishers support self-archiving
- Bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral thesis, habilitations and published works of CTU employees
The CTU Repository is connected with National Repository of Grey Literature (NUŠL) and global repositories, search engines and directories (BASE, OpenDOAR, OpenAIRE, CORE), therefore information is easier to search even in Google and Google Scholar, not forgetting the public financial transparency.
